The image is inspired by the color scheme of a Rubik’s cube maintaining consistent colors throughout. The illusion is the occasional viewer seeing many solid colored cubes rather than the typical tri-colored cubes. I achieved this effect by using shadows and different boarder thicknesses. The EM-Board’s production came to a halt when the creators lost access to the original vector image of their chosen design. I used Adobe Illustrator to recreate the rasterized design into a vector graphic that could be used for production.
